'Self Care: The directory of voluntary and community sector health organisations in the Bradford District'

The Self Care directory, based on the 8th and most recent edition of Bradford CVS's Self Help & Health Directory (2000), covers over 200 health and health-related organisations and groups from across the District. Included is a range of organisations, from small volunteer-led self help groups to large national organisations. It encompasses a broad range of health work from arts for health, alternative health and homelessness, to mental health, drugs and addiction and sexual health. The Self Care directory is an invaluable resource for paid staff and volunteers making referrals and sign posting, and for individuals looking to find out information about local health groups.

Download the health directory or a purchase order form here. Or search DIVA www.divabradford.org.uk, the online database of voluntary organisations in the Bradford District.

We will notify groups and organisations via email when a consultation period starts and make the relevant information available to download here. Sometimes groups and organisations will be asked to provide feedback individually but often HealthNet will collate responses to ensure a stronger voice from the local voluntary and community health sector.
