Report a Problem

When reporting a problem with the website please can you be as specific as possible. As a minimum can you give the web browser you are using and the version; the operating system you are using; and the file name(s) of the page or pages on which the problem occurs. If you're trying to download a document that won't download or a link doesn't work let me know which link or document.

Finding out your web browser and version

If you don't know what web browser or what version you are using you can find this out by clicking on the 'About' option which is usually under the 'Help' menu of the browser - i.e. on Internet Explorer the option 'About Internet Explorer' is under the 'Help' menu at the top of the browser window.

Finding out your operating system

Most people will be using some version of Windows. If you know what version you are using - XP, Vista, ME, etc. - that would be helpful to know as well, but don't worry too much about it. Those of you who aren't using Windows I suspect will know what operating system they are using! Again version information is useful but not essential.

What page?

The page name should be given in the address bar above the browser window or tab. It is also displayed in the footer at the bottom of the page. For example this current page is: www.bradfordcvs.org.uk/html/site_about/bugs.html - but simply bugs will do!

After you've gathered the information together you can simply send me an email. I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
